Severnside Schutzhund Group (BSA) was formed in 1991 and was one of the founder clubs forming the British Schutzhund Association National Council in November 1991. We are a very active club generally hosting 3 Schutzhund trials per year, including a WUSV Qualifier trial for the selection of the British team to attend the World Championships. In 2008 the BSA became the working body of the German Shepherd Dog League of Great Britain.

Our fantastic club facilities are based at Barecroft Common Set in a beautiful rural location where we have a full sized football field, permanent hides & jumps, with a brick built clubhouse. Tracking fields are also very near to the club. All this and we are only 2 minutes off the M4 at junction 23a Magor.
