I started the sport of Schutzhund in 1996, my first dog was a GSD bitch, Tonew Barfreyja (Freyja), bred by Linda Gammon. I managed, with a lot of help from various people at Severnside to qualify her to ScHh111 and competed twice with her in the National Championships.

My next dog in Schutzhund was a Belgium Malinois (Jack), bred by John Rumble.

 I once again qualified him to SchH111. Jack was the reserve in the 2006 FCI World Championship team.

Jack was the first Malinois bred and trained in the UK to qualify to SchH111. Unfortunately in 2008 he had to retire from the sport due to a problem with his Cruciate Ligament.

At present I am currently training a male GSD, Trecerys Alfie SchH1(Alfie), bred by myself.
